Elaine Pelino - As a divorced, independent woman, I always tried to live my life to the fullest and face my fears to capture my dreams… I wanted to start a magazine to encourage other women to do the same… Originally from Providence, Rhode Island, I have lived in Houston, Texas where I was Miss Houston World and an NFL cheerleader. Los Angeles was my next stop where I acted, wrote comedy films and performed stand-up comedy. Early in 2011, I met up with my partners and started Tigress Magazine. The first issue was in October 2011.
